This release is significant for us on several levels. It’s the first song single we’ve done in a while that isn’t a remix. With this song, we’re revisiting our hXc roots while still playing with the synth-driven soundscapes of our previous releases. We’re also proud of the artwork, which was done by our friend Bizantina . Like the song itself, the artwork alludes to our wide sphere of influence (from Nick’s California punk roots to Cristina’s Spanish goth background). Lyrically, this song deals with the topic of fear: the fear of impartial chaos; fear of crowded spaces and senseless violence; fear of injury, death, and loss; the fear that “one bad move could end it all.” Music video, remixes, and more singles to come in 2026. Bio
When it comes to post-punk duo EDGES, fluidity of style results in a sound that is “difficult to pigeonhole but irresistible to listen to.” (OTHER VOICES, 2024).
Although their story begins in Los Angeles, EDGES have operated out of Spain since 2019. With a DIY ethic and support from a community of fringe artists, rogue promoters and loyal friends, the duo have been making their way through Europe’s underground since 2023.
EDGES have shared the stage with acts like The Chameleons, Dancing Plague, Ductape, Past Self, and Ultra Sunn. They have provided remixes for artists like The Spoiled and Dance my Darling. They made their festival debut at Hungary’s Fekete Zaj in 2023 followed by an appearance at Dark Malta in 2024.
